1000年の時を経て切り落とされた右腕を取り戻す茨木童子。

Shinjuku, Kioicho Shrine—a real shrine that has long stood in the heart of Shinjuku. A yokai clan known as the Byakko-kai Idzuna-gumi calls this sacred place home.

Minamoto Shizuka—a human girl adopted and lovingly raised by Idzuna, the clan's leader.

When Shizuka joins the police force, she is assigned to an unusual division: the Paranormal Crimes Division, Spirit Security Section, of the National Police Agency.
